I Can’t Afford That

I can’t afford that.

I couldn’t afford to hire a Personal Trainer at the gym.
I could afford to have the trainer come to my house.

I couldn’t be afford to hire a nutritionist.
I could afford simplified meal plans customized to MY goals that the WHOLE family could enjoy (no one wants mama on a diet anyway).

I couldn’t afford to buy superfoods separately that prevented obesity /weight gain, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, that boosted mood, energy & libido & accelerated the effort I put into my workouts.

I get it. I was that person who said, “I can’t afford that” for an entire YEAR. We were living paycheck to paycheck and sometimes not even then. Ya know, too much month at the end of the money.

Guess what? During that year, we didn’t fall into more money, our paychecks didn’t magically grow, we still had debt, I wasn’t any closer to my health & fitness goals… we were living the SAME life. How could I expect things to change if I wasn’t willing to change? Insanity.

It was when my daughter was born that I refused to live a life of “I can’t afford that.” And having to look in her blue eyes and say “sorry, baby girl, we can’t do that.” I was not going to tell my daughter that her dreams were limited to what we could afford.

I started asking, “WHAT DO I WANT? And how can I make that happen?”

This shift opened my eyes to an opportunity {{BeachBody Coaching}} that was in front of me for that entire year.

Start speaking to yourself in a way that allows for opportunity. Start asking yourself, “how can I make changes to change my circumstances?” And you will see the things around YOU change.
